There is Power in Numbers
If you open your eyes, not just physically, but spiritually, you will notice that the universe is constantly sending you messages. Have you ever thought about someone you haven't spoken to in a very long time and then you get a call or message from them shortly after? Have you heard a certain song on the radio that reflects exactly how you're feeling at that exact moment? Or do you constantly see the same symbol or animal over and over? These are messages from the universe to help guide you through life and one of the ways the universe provides support and guidance is through something we use every day, numbers/numerology.
What is Numerology
Numerology is the belief that there is a mystical and spiritual relationship between numbers and every day events. I use numerology every day in a similar fashion that I use astrology, to help me maximize my success by staying in flow with the energy of the number that is dominating a day, month or year in my personal numerology chart. Just like with astrology, everyone has a personal numerology chart that is based on their birthdate and full name at birth. When I conduct a natal chart reading I make sure to incorporate the person's Life Path number which is similar to the sun sign in astrology as well as their personal year number which can give clues and insight into the themes and events that may occur for them that year. To calculate your life path number simply add every number in your birth date and keep adding until you get a single digit. For example, my birthdate is 4/22/1984. 4+2+2+1+9+8+4 = 30. 3+0 = 3. But what I really want to talk about now is how you can receive messages from the universe by paying attention to numbers that show up repeatedly in your life.
Synchronicity Through Numbers
There are several number sequences that are significant to me and when I see them I take a moment to observe my surroundings and tap into my intuition to figure out what the universe is trying to tell me. One number that I see often and you may too if you're into mysticism or spirituality, is 11:11. In numerology this is a master number and a highly spiritual number related to light workers (people put on earth to help heal others). When I see 11, 11:11 or 1:11, I say a gratitude prayer and/or focus on all of the positive things in my life. Another number that is significant to me is 22. 22 is also a master number related to building and manifesting in the material world. When I see the number 22 or 422 (my birthday) it's a reminder to stay in alignment with my life purpose. Interestingly enough my dad was born on the 1st, me on the 22nd and my brother on the 11th (He's also a life path 11). The other numbers that have become significant to me more recently are 27 or 227. I started to see the numbers 27 and 227 frequently at the end of 2015 right before I saw a medium to communicate with my mom. My mom's birthday was 12/27. I started to see this number everywhere when I was searching for apartments, driving in my car, on restaurant receipts and pretty much everywhere. There was even a time when my grandma and I picked up an elderly woman who was stranded on the street and drove her home. Her address was 1227. When I noticed this I had a knee-jerk reaction and started crying because I knew my mom was sending me a message that I was doing the right thing. Now whenever I see these numbers I acknowledge my mom because I know she is telling me she's with me and I am spiritually supported.
Interpreting Your Number Sequences
If there is a particular number sequence that you constantly see in your life I'm going to show you an easy way to interpret it as a special message from the universe. The easiest thing to do is to take the individual messages of all the numbers in the sequence and merge them together. For example, take the number 38. The number 3 is a creative number that can represent self-expression and communication. 8 is an industrious number related to money and the manifestation of material items. Seeing the number 38 can be a message for you to use your creativity and/or self-expression to help manifest your material wants and needs.
